We gave James from Stonescape a challenging project. We asked him to build a patio on a yard with an unusual shape and a five degree grade from the house. He built a retaining wall around the lower sides of the yard and then built a raised patio that maintained a two degree grade from the house for runoff but was flat enough for patio furniture. His great workmanship at a reasonable price made the yard much more useful and it looks great!

I just finished building a new house and needed some stone work done for a basement walkout and finishing the front entrance stairs. I contacted Jim at Stonescape. He came out and not only did he give me a great quote, he also gave me some terrific ideas for how to finish the look to match the house as well as tying in the look of the front and back.
He completed the jobs as scheduled. They look terrific. Ive had many people comment on how great the work looks. I definitely recommend giving him a call for any yard work you need. I am planning on bringing him back to help me with the final landscaping,

I have worked with Jim twice over the last two decades. I have been extremely pleased with his work both times. Twenty two years ago he laid patio stone in my backyard which is still holding up to this day. More recently, I hired him last year to complete work at another property and it was just as amazing the second time around. Jim is meticulous with his work and is an honest and reasonable person. He worked hard to complete the job within our timeline. We are lucky to have found him and would recommend his services to everyone.

Jim and his crew did an exceptional job with our backyard patio- they take great pride in their work. They are very much customer focus, professional, and passionate in all aspects of the job. Jim is great to work with, answered all my questions and kept me informed throughout the project. Great choice in going with Stonescape.

Jim from Stonescape did a retaining wall for us to surround our pool and divide the two distinct parts of our backyard. They are at different levels so it was quite a tricky job but he did a great job evening up the top level then putting in a nice looking stone wall that was stepped in some parts and straight in others, as the terrain required. The finished job was great and it made our backyard and pool look so much nicer! It's now been 4 years and everything looks the same as when it was done. Thanks Jim !

These are the intangibles finishing touches, which makes a person say “wow, this looks great!”
